Instructions

Hardware requirements

  •  Two color glasses (3D glasses e.g.: red\cyan, magenta\green, red\green etc.)
  • iOS 5.0 or newer / Windows Phone 7.1 or newer / Windows 8 or newer / Android 2.1 or newer

Step by Step insturctions:

1. Download Lazy Eye Tetris for your device

2. Start Lazy Eye Tetris

3. Put up your two color glasses

4. Adjust the proper left color what compatible with your glasses

4.1  Navigate to color settings page (if there is a settings wizard in that game then you can ignore this general instruction and follow the instructions of the settings wizard)

4.2 On the settings screen you can see a „Left” and a „Right” label on a white backgrounnd and each above a color picker

4.3 To adjust the Left color you have to close your right eye first

4.4 While your right eye is closed you have to use the left color picker to select that color where you can’t see left label on the white background

4.5 As you touch and drag your finger on the left color picker the color of left label immediately follow the changes

4.6 Your are done if you can’t see the left label because it merged into the white background

5. Repeat the step 4. to your right eye

6. When you finished you can save the settings by click to the „Save” button

7. You can check the final settings with the following steps:

7.1 Close right eye, look at the left label you are right if you can’t see with your left eye

7.2 Close left eye, look at the right label you are right if you can’t see with your right eye

8. With the proper settings you are ready to start the game navigate back to the game scene

9. Start the game

10. The falling block should be invisible for the left eye but should be visible for your right eye

11. After a block reached the bottom of the game field it switch color and the landed block should be invisible for the right eye but should be visible for your left eye

12. To successfully build rows your brain and your eyes forced to work together and that way your stereo vision can improve

13. You should play the game 20-60 minutes each day. You can split up that into 2 or 3 20 minutes sessions if you feel this more comfortable. The most important is to be able to concentrate in the timeframe while you exercising so if you tired just take a rest and continue later or sometimes you can skip a day to give your brain enough time to adapt the new inputs. You can see significant improvements after 6 weeks of use

Important to know

– If you use a pale-colored 3D glasses then It need more precise settings to separate the two eye appropiate.
As I experienced that a more darker or high contrast 3D glasses easier to setup (maybe the red-green and magenta-green is the easiest).

– You can play with the left right colors as you wish.
e.g: if you have an amblyopic left eye then you adjust the “left” word to be invisible for your left eye and “right” to your right eye then you will see the landing blocks with your left eye after it is easy you can change up the two side to use you amblyopic eye to see the falling block what is a bit harder so you can adjust the two color as you wish according to your capibilities

– It is easier if you start with a smaller screen and when you comfortable with that screen you can step forward to a bigger screen

e.g.:

mobile :~4″

(Android, Windows Phone)

->

tablet :~10″

(Android, Windows 8)

->

monitor: ~22″

(Android, Windows 8)

->

TV ~46″

(I recommend the Lazy Eye Tetris 3D connected with a PC but you can use any version\device what you can easily connect and play)

“It is amazing how it works! I was almost blind to one eye , I couldn’t able to read with that at all, and after only one month of practice I can read very small letters too. I have suggested to everyone already. A thousand thanks to Balazs!” -Eve

  1. I have downloaded the free version of Lazy eye Tetris and found that the Change Color option does not work. Is there a fix for this?

    1. Thank you for your feedback, we got similar feedbacks from Galaxy Tab users and we fixed the issue please check for update
If the fix dosn’t work on your device then please provide us the device name what you use, thanks

  2. Hi
I have a windows 8 phone with the tetris app running on. I can configure the left eye with the red text to disappear but the right eye with the blue will not.

  3. I tried this and its a weird feeling. i have my left eye the lazy one and if i setup the right eye doesnt see the right text at all, the blocks on the ground (what the lazy eye sees) do swim left and right. i must have a very bad eye. do i have to set the blue color up so my left eye doesnt see anything or can there be just a little to see. so it helps with my left eye?

    1. Yes you can play with the colors to make easier but after a time ypu should re set as suggested to make harder.
I also would like to suggest to do Vision Therapy exercises and after a couple weeks retry with the proper settings. If you can not see then then continue VT while you can see both of the blocks in the game.
      VT exercises:
      http://seeinstereo.wordpress.com/

      1. i have set it up now. i can see both blocks. but the lower blocks swim left and right and i dont seem to “hit” the holes i want. Will this go away after a while?

      2. Yes sure that is the point of the application.
You can change up the two colors or pause the game blink and try to force the eyes to see better and better aligments of the blocks. Approximatelly it will take weeks or months with a daily practice and you will also notice that you will see with your eyes sharper, eyes will align better and you will feel more conscious in your eyes after a time.

  4. Hi, I’m guessing that I have to wear the 3d glasses over my normal corrective glasses while playing?

I wouldn’t be able to see the game at all otherwise?

    Thanks

    1. Yes, in general this is the suggested way if you have corective glasses too, but you can try it out without the corrective glasses and see the result. If you can play without the corrective glasses then I would suggest to use only the 3D glasses but if you experience that without the corrective glasses itis impossible to play then use the corrective glasses.

  5. im getting realy weird feeling in my backhead for the past weeks. im kind of dizzy all the time and start getting psychical unstable. could this be the reason? or wtf is going on.

    1. Hi, I have didn’t get any similar feedbacks and I also did not experience that, but if you think the game can be related to these feelings then please rest the game for a couple of days or weeks and consult with a doctor it is always can be a good thing but these symptons can cause a lot of things.

  6. Hi, thank you very much, I have the same experience as phoenix, I hava lazy left eye and the blocks on the ground are also “swimming”, I really have to concentrate to hit them right.. Also have a problem with right eye color settings, cant find the invisible color (the right glass color is magenta). but i set it to the point where it is very badly visible and I can still play (the blocks are grey). Anyway I think it’s a great application and would like to thank you very much for making it. Best regards

    1. Thank you for your feedback!
      I’m glad to hear that!
If you tired to play the application or feel uncomfortable then keep a shift. To gain proper vision it needs a lot little steps and maybe if somebody too enthautism and try to do big steps instead little then maybe that can cause uncomfortable feelings. So a daily 1h or 30m is ideal and if you can then do other VT excercises too as you feel.
To make easier the color settings use the 1. glasses it really worth the price compared to others
      check this out for details:

  7. I have amblyopia in my left eye, I can’t see through my center vision in my left eye at all, it is completely black in the center when i close my good eye. But i can see through my peripheral vision in the bad eye. Will this game work for me? Since I can’t see through my central vision in the bad eye at all? Also, I still have strabismus in the bad eye (it was never corrected with surgery).

    1. Hi,
it is not an easy case but maybe we can get closer to the answer if I ask. As I think Lazy Eye Tetris stands as one of the most advanced Vision Therapy exercise so in your case I would suggest to start with easier VT exercises like brock string, fusion cards etc…
Do you have experience in Vision Therapy? If yes what exercises you did and how do you feel do you able to do those exercises on any level?

      1. No I don’t have any experience with VT, where can I get directions to do the exercises properly? I don’t want to mess up my eye even more if I do them incorrectly. But please, ask if it will work for me, I’m very curious to know.

        Thank you!

      2. If you live in the US then you can find a Vision Therapiest easily here:
        http://www.covd.org/?page=Vision_Therapy
if not or in every case it is good if you look after yourself too, a good starting point can be my other site mainly focus on the attached pdf files (it is mostly just a structured pdf and link collections what is more then enough to start):
        http://seeinstereo.wordpress.com/
and to understand the whole concept and to get motivation I really suggest to buy Susan Barry’s book:
        http://www.fixingmygaze.com/
a brief video about the author:

and for more help there is a group where we share our experiences it is could be a really big help too so join to this facebook group:
        https://www.facebook.com/groups/diyvisiontherapy/

        I hope I could help

  8. Hi,

I have a very bad lazy eye, and it’s difficult for me to find the exact point where the (lazy) eye can’t see the label on the white background.
No matter how I select the color, when I play the game my left (good) eye sees the falling blocks as well as the landed blocks. And it’ s very difficult for the lazy eye to see any blocks at all.
Does that mean lazy eye tetris isn’ t the game for me? I tried with and without my own glasses.

    1. Hi,
do you use a phone or tablet or monitor or TV.
      Phone can be the easiest.

I think Lazy Eye Tetris stands as one of the most advanced Vision Therapy exercise so in your case I would suggest to start with easier VT exercises like brock string, fusion cards etc…

please also look at this for easier exercises:
      http://seeinstereo.wordpress.com/

  9. I have a few quick questions for the time spent playing per day and the motion/still objects.

Does it matter if you play around an hour in total each day at random times, or do you need to play one of the games for the hour all at once?

Should my bad eye be viewing the moving blocks, or the still ones? Or does it not matter?

I’ve noticed that my bad eye seems to see the falling blocks nearly half a square off-center to the right as well.

    1. Hi,

it is better for once on hour than separeate.
For the bad eye it is easiear to so the landed blocks so first try this then if you mastered then switch to see the falling blocks with the bad eye,

  10. Been reading through here and I am so excited. I want to thank Balazs so much for answering everyone’s question.

I have a question myself and hope you can help me:

I have both strabismus and amblyopia leading to double vision and poor vision in one eye.

Will this game help align the eye muscle coordination AS WELL as improve my vision in the weak eye?

Thank you so much for giving hope to millions of people with lazy eye.

    1. Hi,

I’m glad that you found my site and thanks for the nice words!

Yes, the game can help on these because the root problem is the same for all disorders. In average you can see pretty good improvments just after weeks of daily use. The game can also help on strabismus what probably lead you to double vision but I would strongly suggest to try to do other exercises beside the game due to the strabismus, I would recommend to try Brock String too this is maybe the best alignemt corrections.
You can find a description about this and some other exercises on my other site:
      http://seeinstereo.wordpress.com/

If you are new to Vision Therapy then I also would like to suggest the best book I think in that theme what can give you enough motivation to reach your goal and get a good base knowledge about the whole thing:
      http://fixingmygaze.com/

I wish the bests and you are welcome

  11. Hi I am 17 Years old and using Samsung galaxy s3 MINI With 3D anaglaph glass my lazy eye is 6/12 SO what Is the maximum time that i will get back my eye vision to 6/6 By Using this Game Only 1 hour Every Day ?

    Thank You

    1. Hi,

everybody is differnet so I can’t tell you an exact date I would suggest to measure your eye now and after each week or month and you will see the exact results. In general I can say that after two weeks you have to see noticable improvments in the bad eye.

      Best regards,
      Balázs Bertalan

      1. I have to get My eye vision to 6/6 In next two Years i WILLL DO ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD to Get My Eye vision back to 6/6 in two years so can u tell me what i can do else

  12. Thank you for answering.

    I have another question.

I bought the Windows 8.1 version.

I just set the colors so that each eye can only see one color (right or left).

My lazy eye is the right eye, so after setting it, my left eye, good eye, can see both colors and play with just fine with one eye.

    Is this right?

I can play with just my good eye (one eye)?

I thought the two eyes suppose to work together?

I also noticed (not sure if its a glitch), after I set the colors and save it, after coming back to it later after playing, the colors is different (it changed). This is without exiting the game yet.

I think there should be improvements:
    1. Set which eye is the lazy eye (right or left)
    2. Set difficulty levels.

    Please advise

    1. You have to use both eyes you should try to set to be invisible one text to one eye and the other to the other eye
(not neceserry to make totally invisivble but enough pale to be able to see the difference whether you use both or only one eye)
You can try maybe another 3D glasses please read that article: https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/what-kind-of-3d-glasses-can-i-use-with-lazy-eye-tetris/
Yes the goal is to play the game with both eye and not suppress the bad one.

Thanks for your feedback I will look after that saving issue.
In the instructions on the page I mentioned that the user should start to set the landed blocks to the bad eye and after mastered it change up the two sides. It is just a suggestion if it is hard to start.
Anyway you can set the sides as you wish it is easier or harder a bit but there is no restriction that tells you have to always set the bad eye to left or right.

The levels at the moment increasing automatically but I will take into consideration to add an adjustable level setting too.

  13. Hi i started to play it .. what is better black or white ground ? and in white ground i see red light swimming is that normal ? and playing 30 min in morning and 30 min in night is equal to 1 hour in anythime in the day ? thanks

    1. Hi,

choose the background what is fit better to you 3D glasses try both and you can see which is better for you.
Probably you have to choose black if you see that red light yet.
Yes to separate one hour to two parts is okay.

      Best regards,
      Balazs Bertalan

      1. i couldnt edit the colours in black so i will keep play in white with red swimming Is there problem in that ?

    1. Samsung s3 not a special device so it should work.
Some users not familier with color picker control maybe that is the problem as you did not get any excpetion message what would indicate there is an error.
When you click e.g.: the left “Choose the left glass color” a color picker control will pop up where you can tap on the right vertical line and choose a base color and on the left side in the big rectangle you can fine tune that color. While you changing the color you should see that the colors bottom of the page is changing and after that you can save with the ok button.

  14. mmmm I think you understand me wrong i can do all that u said but Red/Cyan are visible to me in black and cant make them invisible like in white SO Is there problem while playing in white with swimming red
? And I am So Sorry for asking to much THNX

  15. Hello, I have red/blue 3D glasses and managed to neutralize the blue blocks being seen with my good eye so i only see the red blocks, but when it comes to the red(my lazy eye) i can’t completely neutralize the red blocks. Will the therapy still work if i can only see the red blocks and not the blue blocks with my good eye but both blue/slightly red with my lazy eye? Thank you very much in advance

    1. Yes, it is not necessary to completely neutralize it should be as divided to be able to notice whether you see with both eyes or only through one. So you are okay, just make sure that you alswys see both the stronger colors simultanesly.

  16. Hello and thanks again for the previous reply! I don’t know if this matters but which blocks should I let my lazy eye see, the falling ones or the grounded ones? And how bad is 6/48 vision in terms of amblyopia?

    1. I suggest to set to see the grounded blocks with the amblyopic eye.6/48 is not special bad or good as you have amblyopia if you have corrective glass then use the 3D glass over it.

  17. hello sir

i have amylobia in my left eye

i have laptop hp and windows 8 and 3d glass ( the screen of lap is normal)

can i play in my laptop and how to Instruction with my left eye

    1. Hi,

you can if you have a anaglyph 3D glass then you can download
      http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/lazy-eye-tetris/710cd675-e4cf-4a09-824a-0b3162fe3e2a

if you hava a 3D display equiped laptop and a passive\active 3D glass then:
      http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/lazy-eye-tetris-3d/a170a2b9-3a96-43dd-99cd-6897e4334bdd

      for instructions:
      https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/instructions/

If your left eye is amblyopic then I suggest to first set the grounded blocks visible for the bad eye and the falling for the dominant eye.

      Kind regards,
      Balzs Bertalan

    1. Thanks a lot, yes these are detailed steps but It will be intuitive the point of the settings is to separate the two side to see only with one eye one side and make the other invisible or close to invisible.

      1. Everybody is a different case somebody reported no results after one month somebody else improved from 20\400 to 20\20 after two weeks daily usage. In general I can tell that you have a good chance to reach the same acquity like the dominant eye has at the moment if you pay enough time to that.

      1. You linked a picture from a Compaq 610
        http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01767234

I don’t see equiped with 3D dsiaply and you also wrote that you have anaglyph (two color) glasses
what is for the not 3D version of the game.
So you have to download this version:
        http://apps.microsoft.com/windows/en-us/app/lazy-eye-tetris/710cd675-e4cf-4a09-824a-0b3162fe3e2a

To be able to play with the 3D version (what you linked now) you have to use a 3D display like LG passive 3D technology equiped monitors\tvs or samsung active 3D technology.

  18. I’m the odd man out and use one of two operating systems that no one else seems to use – Windows 7 and I-Phone 4 ISO 8.1.1. I’m being facetious, of course – they are probably two of the most popular OS’s, yet I can not seem to find a compatible download for either?

    1. Hi,

Windows 7 version will not be release but an iOS on the way if you subscribe to this wordpress site then you will get notification about the new posts like when I post about a new iOS version in the near future.

  19. Hi Balasz,

I want you to know that i just bought the windows 8 version and quickly started playing. I think you did a wonderful job with this game and i’m really excited. Also i would like to ask you a couple of questions.
Fistly, if i’m playing on a 3d tv with passive 3d glasses which came with the tv, it is also required to adjust the colors to that point where the blue text is invisible with the left eye and red text invisible to the right? Or is it better to leave the color settings as they were? I’m guessing that adjusting them applies only to anaglyph glasses, but i would like to make sure i’m doing the right thing.
Second, does ambiental light have any effect on training? I mean, is it better to play with the lights on or off? Or it doesn’t really make a difference?
Last thing, it it possible to play the game with a wireless pc gamepad since i do not have a touch interface?

    Thank you again!

    1. Hi,

thanks for the download and please if you like the game then rate it in the app store it would be great.

Yes you see correctly the color change has no affect in 3D version, you can just choose colors what you like but as the 3D display can separate the two sides with side by side technology the colors has no affect.
      Ambiental light doens’t make difference.
Yes you can, I suggest the free “joytokey” named keyboard mapping software to use.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs Bertalan

  20. Hello Balazs Bertalan,

Thank you again for your great work.
I want to ask you a quick question. I have a 42″ sony bravia with passive 3d and before i start the training my lazy eye, i want to know at what distance from the tv is better to stand. It is better to sit at a shorter distance with this screen size? or it is better to sit at greater distance in order to achieve the best results. I’m looking forward to your reply. Thanks
    Best Regards

    1. Hi,

I suggest to start at a distance where you can play the game most easily (it is different for each people) then If you mastered then increase the distance as much you can step by step. (but I think if can increase the distance with 1-2m compared to the original distance then you are really really good). The most important to be able to play the game in confident and to keep the image in focus all the time.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs Bertalan

  21. Hi I’m using an iPhone with the red and blue glasses and I can’t seem to find the right colours, it just goes a white or pink when I try and pick the red colour

      1. Hi,

if you find hard to find the proper colors please check this article:
        https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/what-kind-of-3d-glasses-can-i-use-with-lazy-eye-tetris/

If ypu have iphone 6 and the color picker is too small and that is why you can’t find the proper color then the update is in progress in the app store already.

Yes it can help on a slight strabismus too but in that case I also suggest to try out some VT exercises also like Brock string.

        Kind regards,
        Balazs Bertalan

  22. Hi my son is 7 years old and has been patching and wearing his glasses since he was 5 and a half. He has the lazy eye and when wearing the glasses you could not see the squint as his eye used to align. Now the squint is noticeable with glasses and so we decided to download the Tetris game and tell him to play an hour a day. Please could you be so kind as to guide me on how he should play the game and which 3d glasses you would suggest for him. Does he have to wear his glasses and the 3d on top of them to play the game? Does he do it whilst he is patching.any help would be highly appreciated.Thank you.

    1. Hi,
for instructions please read that through:
      https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/instructions/

the best 3D glasses what I suggest is the first (but all works but a bit harder to find the proper colors)
      https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/what-kind-of-3d-glasses-can-i-use-with-lazy-eye-tetris/

Yes wear the 3D glasses on top of his normal glasses.

Yes, you can continue the patching in general 1-2 hour patching is what doctors suggest (while playing the game the patch should not be on his eyes of course).

If you have Vision Therapiest in the near then I also suggest to find one.
Because he is 7 years old the patching only can’t gurantee 100% cure but with the combination of the patching and the game and a therapist he have the best chances to cure that state.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs Bertalan

  23. I am using the game on an iPad and am having trouble setting up the colors.
I read the set up instructions on the link and this did not help. There is no left/right word or white background It shows the blocks With a black background. I can not get it to totally block out either the falling or landed blocks. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

    1. Hi,

for the iOS version there is a longer description in the game itself what describe how to adjust the colors please read that. If you was not able to make completly invisible the blocks but you can seee when you play with one one or both then you are good with the settings and you can play the game.
If you really want to make the block totally invisible the I suggest the first 3Dglases here:
      https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/what-kind-of-3d-glasses-can-i-use-with-lazy-eye-tetris/

      Kind regards,
      Balazs B.

  24. Thanks I tried adjusting it some more. I can’t seem to block out the falling block with my right eye ( dominate eye). Any suggestions? The 3 d glasses I have look exactly like the ones in your link.

    1. With the first 3D glasses the Vision Therapy glasses you should be able to make invisible each block very very easily.
But as I said if you can close to make invisible and you can notice when you use only one or both eyes then you are good to play.

  25. Hello,

Ive dowloaded this game due to my strabismus condition on my right eye. I got blue and red 3d vision glasses but i dont know how this game works. Your instructions don’t make a lot of sense. Could you help me out so i can relieve myself from this condition.

    1. Hi,
of course but first please tell me which version have you downloaded for which platform? If you have downloaded a Pro version then an instruction ahould appear when you start the settings wizard in the game.

  26. Hi,
iv tried this on android and apple phones with the red and green glasses and the blue and red ones, cant get the colours right and it is frustrating me as iv spent about £35 on apps and glasses

    1. Hi,

if you have problems to setup the colors after you have read the instructions in the beginnning of the configration wizard then you probably own a low contrast 3D glasses I would suggest one of these:
      https://lazyeyetetris.wordpress.com/2014/04/27/what-kind-of-3d-glasses-can-i-use-with-lazy-eye-tetris/

A higher contrast glasses more darker more easier to setup the colors to be invisible, with a low contrast glasses you should choose a very bright color to accomplish that this is why a high contrast or darker glasses fits better to the game.

If you were able to setup the colors just you were not able to make completly invisible the blocks but you can see when you play with one one or both then you are good with the settings and you can play the game.
If you really want to make the block totally invisible the I suggest the 1. 3D glasses from the above link.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs B.

  27. I have just bought this game (version 5) on Iphone for my son. I have also bought a pair of 2 color glasses – Red/Blue. He has just turned 8 and was diagnosed with ambliopia in his left eye last year.
Initially the setting was hard to understand but now I understand and have configured it nearly perfectly. When I cover right eye then only falling blocks are visible and if I close left eye then only landed blocks are visible. So I am all set to give the game to my son, hope he improves.

I have couple of questions to Balazs –
    1. When I play the game with the two color galsses , I dont feel that my two eyes are processing two different things and it seems that my both eyes are able to see both the landed and falling blocks but as I said above if I cover one eye either landed or falling blocks are visible.
Could you please let me know if this is OK, I have configured the game correctly and my son will be playing the same as per prescribed method?

    2. I tested the above settings for my son as well. but it seems that he is able to play the game without much difficulty. does it mean that tetris will not be able to help in his case?

    1. Hi,

the settings what you have described seems right.
When you cover the left eye you see only the landed blocks and when you cover the other eye you can only see falling only or reverse.
You have normal vision with normal fusion capabilities so you should play the game easily.
With an amblyopic eye it should be much harder to play and keep both sides sharp while doing the exercise so it is a good sign if your son able to play the game.
You can make harder the game for him if he mastered in one way already the game.
Change up the two sides to see the falling\landed blocks with the opposite eye.
Change the distance and if you have multiple devices then change the screen size also.
These all can make the game a bit harder and the brain should adapt to these changes and in that way the eyes can get more stimulation.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs B.

  28. Hi Balazs,

First of all let me thank you for your big efforts on helping people with lazy eye.

I´m 23 year old, I used to have a catarat on my right eye but got surgery in 2010 when I was 18. I don´t know if I was born with the catarat but I had it since I could remember. I remember when it was discovered it was smaller and it was getting bigger with time. When I got surgery everything went perfect the doctor removed it and placed a lens inside and my vision improved a little bit. But since I had the catarat and the eye had not finish developing the doctor told me it was like a lazy eye.

Would this tetris treatment for lazy eye help me in my case?

Thanks in advance and best regards,

    1. Hi,

it is a special case so I would suggest to you to consult about it with your doctor.
But as I see from here that the problematic eye with cataract previously was not able to cooperate in normal vision and develop in the normal way so it is possible that this eye is turned to a misaligned and\or amblyopic eye if this is the case then you also do not developed depth perception. If this is the case then Vision Therapy and Lazy Eye Games can be beneficial for you to cure this condition.

      Kind regards,
      Balazs B.

  29. First of all, I would like to Thank you for your help. I have a question. I am ambloypic in my right eye. I read your earlier posts and it was suggested to wear a red green glasses for better results. But I am also red green color blind, so I am using red-blue instead (Blue on my right). The problem is I am unable to make the “Right” disappear completely by choosing Blue color shades available. I am still able to see make out the words with my right eye having left eye closed. But left one is completely disappeared with my left eye.

Will this still work if I can’t make the “Right” words completely disappear? (it is lighter to an extent, but still able to see). Is there any other work around? (I am using the glasses listed as 4th)

    1. Hi,

yes blue\red can be also good.
If you were able to setup the colors just you were not able to make completely invisible the blocks but you can see when you play with one eye or both eyes then you are good with the settings and you can play the game it will be beneficial just always pay attention what see and concentrate to use both eyes together.
Another option can be the Windows 8 3D version of the game where you should have a 3D display:

    1. Hi,

It is easier if you start with a smaller screen and when you comfortable with that screen you can step forward to a bigger screen. Like phone -> tablet -> tv

    1. Hi,

the game can help a lot on lazy eye and ambyopia I got many positive feedbacks that indicate better eye alignment and e.g. 20/400 vision what changed to 20/20. There are 2 or 3 who gave feedback that they did not improved, but in the feedbacks I get in general 95% positive feedback and people report improvements.

You have to be aware that with Vision Therapy as the game itself also a Vision Therapy like exercise can be improved that condition but it is a hard and long process to cure fully to get improvements is relatively fast weeks, months.
You also have to be aware that all people different so one react more one less there was report who told me that after just 3-4 usage in 2 weeks improved the eyes to close to perfect but of course it sounds extreme and great but can’t guarantee this for everybody so it is usually hard and long work.

To be aware of the whole process I also suggest to read through that book it gives a pretty good start point to understand the all situation:

and of course also can be helpful to read vision therapy related articles.

      Kind regards,

  30. Hello Balazs,
Can you tell me if it’s better to play with or without corrective lenses?
    I can play without,
    Thank you.

  31. Hi Balazs,

I suffer from mild amblyopia and my right eye sees around 20/30 to 20/25. Are there any feedback from users who have mild amblyopia and were able to correct up to 20/20?

    Really appreciate your effort! Thanks

    M

  33. hi,
I have had very poor vision and lazy eye for many years. Recently however, I had cataract surgery in both eyes so now my vision is 20/30 in my good eye and 20/40 in my lazy eye without corrective lenses. My lazy eye is still drifting inward and I still have no depth perception. Will this help straighten my lazy eye? Also, does it work on I pad mini?

    1. Hi,

yes it works on iPad mini.
